Rifle - Elk
Drawing deadline for Unit 61 is early April.
We hunt only unit 6l, for rifle elk. This is one of the best units in Colorado for elk. Our success rate is very high, with almost everyone harvesting a bull. Shots vary from 20 to 400 yards.
On this hunt, you may also hunt bear by purchasing a bear tag. There is no outfitter charge unless you harvest a bear.
We are where we need to be by daylight and will hunt hard for you.
You will need at least 15 preference points to draw a license for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th and 16 points for the 1st season, so plan this hunt in advance.
Landowner vouchers are available for an additional fee but are limited.
